Welcome to Fantasy Baseball Manager of the Year, or “MOTY” for short — a revolutionary approach to evaluating fantasy baseball players. It's your new secret weapon come draft day. And your headquarters for researching and tracking your fantasy teams throughout the season.
Unlike any other, the MOTY System “scores” batters and pitchers based on the way the fantasy game itself is scored — drawing from all 10 categories in the 5x5 scoring system. Then, using trade-secret algorithms – which include many secondary stats – MOTY distills each player’s long list of statistics into one number, his MOTY# — his overall fantasy value.
From this day forward, you’ll make managerial decisions based on the most objective, stat-based analysis — ranking players for your draft, deciding who to bench and who to activate, evaluating trade offers and, most especially, finding “sleepers” in the free agent pool.
The MOTY system equalizes batter and pitcher values, as well as starting pitchers and relief pitchers, for an “apples-to-apples” comparison. Each MOTY point a batter earns is equal to each MOTY point a pitcher earns, allowing you to instantly and confidently compare any two or more players, regardless of position.
Best of all, the MOTY system works for any fantasy baseball strategy and scoring system. Your strategy is your strategy. MOTY just makes it work harder for you.

“… three reasons: PETCO truly is a Pitcher’s Park, Jake Peavy, and the Padres’ lineup really is that bad. Add ’em all up and you get ‘Suck City.’”
So we wrap up 22 weeks of MOTY Rankings — YTD, MTD and Last Week lists — and one player is starting to run away with the #1 ranking for 2008. Sure, there are 4 weeks left in the ’08 campaign (with the rosters expanding to 40 spots on Sept. 1 ... stay tuned, especially if you’re in a tight race and need some help in specialty categories like stolen bases), but one fantasy baseball player is going “Denny McLain” on us. Well, almost. And the thing is … he probably wasn’t even drafted in your league. But certainly got picked up within the first few weeks of the season — by someone using the MOTY Rankings. Log in and check out who’s been hot and who’s been “not” over the Last Week, MTD and full 2008 season.
Draft Season is heating up. Spring Training half over. And the MOTY projections freshly updated — some guys moving up in the rankings, some moving down. Over 1,700 total projections now available: 875+ hitters, 850+ pitchers.
Sort them using 15 category headers. Create custom filters with the MOTY Scope. Dig deep. Uncover hidden gems and sleepers. Then save “your guys” to a personal roster. Filter them. Sort them. Then print them with the click of a button — and dominate your draft.
